RASCAL Bike Rentals for Families in Belgium
This project was created to support sustainable mobility for families and to bridge Czech cycling know-how with Belgian cycling culture. The official endorsement of the Czech-Belgian Chamber of Commerce provides stability, fair terms and high service standards for both expats and the local community.

How It Works?
- Select a bike model based on your child's height and age, then reserve it using our online booking form.
- Based on your reservation, you will receive an invoice for payment.
- Once payment has been made and the contract has been signed, your bike will be ready for collection.
- After that, all that's left to do is enjoy every ride!
Available Bikes
We offer bikes for all age groups – from the smallest RASCAL Punk! balance bike, through the classic range of children's bikes RASCAL Classic, to the junior range of mountain bikes RASCAL Wild. The table below will help you choose the right bike model.
The bikes in the Classic range are available in five colours – Aquamarine, Flame, Titanium, Gold and Raspberry. RASCAL WILD mountain bikes are available exclusively in Ruby Red.

Basic Rental Terms
- The minimum rental period is 6 months.
- The rental can be extended at any time at the monthly rate shown in the last column.
- A €35 administration fee is charged for each new rental agreement. The administration fee is not charged again when the rental is extended.
- The bike must be returned within 5 days of the end of the rental period.

FAQ
What if I choose the wrong bike size?
Don’t worry. When picking the bike in person, your child can try it out. If we find that the size isn’t right, we will exchange it for a more suitable size free of charge, subject to availability. Any difference in price will then be invoiced or refunded accordingly.
Can I exchange the bike when my child outgrows it?
Yes, you can exchange the bike for a larger size, subject to availability.
What condition will the bike be in when I receive it?
All bikes undergo a full service by our technician before being handed over. You will receive your bike in excellent technical condition, clean, safe and ready to ride.
Where can I pick the bike up?
You can either pick the bike up in person or have it delivered to your address via our partner collection point in Brussels. We will provide further information once your invoice has been paid.
Can I pay when I come to pick up the bike?
The rental must be paid for in advance based on the invoice we send you. The invoice can be paid by bank transfer or QR code payment.
What happens if the bike is damaged or stolen?
Normal wear and tear (such as scratches to the paintwork or worn tyres) is covered by the rental price. In the event of vandalism or theft, we recommend taking out our Additional Insurance. Without insurance, the renter is responsible for the loss of or serious damage to the bike in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
Can I end the rental early?
Yes, there are two options. If you entered into the rental agreement remotely (online), you have a statutory right to withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the bike. Simply notify us of your withdrawal in writing (by email) and return the bike to the collection point. Any payments made will be refunded within 14 days. If you have already used the bike during this period, we will deduct only the proportionate amount for the period of use.
After the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, the agreed minimum rental period of 6 months applies. You may return the bike earlier, but the rental fees for the agreed minimum rental period will not be refunded.
What should I do if the bike breaks down or I get a puncture?
Routine maintenance and punctures (e.g. a punctured inner tube): These are the customer's responsibility and are handled at the customer's own expense as part of the normal use and care of the bike.
Damage to components (e.g. a broken kickstand or a fault with the frame or drivetrain): If the bike or any of its components is damaged or develops a fault, please contact us. In such cases, we will arrange the necessary repair or replacement.
What happens if I lose or damage the accessories?
If any of the accessories supplied with the bike (e.g. kickstand, mudguards, bell, etc.) are lost or damaged, you will be charged for their replacement. The replacement price will, however, be lower than the standard retail price.
